Job Summary
As an Organic Growth Marketer, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of App Store Optimization to maximize app visibility, rankings, and downloads on both the App Store and Google Play. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to align ASO strategies with our broader user acquisition goals.
Responsibilities
ASO Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement ASO strategies to improve app visibility and organic downloads.
Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and phrases for our app's target audience.
Optimize app metadata, including titles, descriptions, keywords, and tags, for App Store and Google Play.
Organic Growth Marketing
Develop and execute social media strategies to drive organic traction and build a strong online presence.
Create engaging, shareable, and viral content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce visually appealing posts, videos, and campaigns.
Identify and engage with gaming communities, influencers, and forums to promote the app authentically.
Track and analyze the performance of organic social media campaigns, using insights to refine strategies.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis
Monitor and analyze app store performance metrics (rankings, downloads, impressions, etc.) and report insights.
Conduct A/B testing of metadata and creatives (e.g., icons, screenshots, videos) to optimize performance.
Track and evaluate the impact of ASO initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.
Creative Collaboration
Work with designers to create compelling and engaging app store assets (screenshots, videos, icons).
Provide clear briefs for creative teams to develop assets that align with ASO strategies and app branding.
Competitive Analysis
Analyze competitor apps to identify trends, strategies, and opportunities to differentiate our app.
Stay up to date with app store algorithms, guidelines, and ASO best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with UA and Product teams to align organic marketing efforts with paid campaigns for holistic growth.
Collaborate with product teams to ensure app updates align with user needs and market trends.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Organic Growth Marketer or in a similar role, preferably within the gaming or app industry.
Deep understanding of App Store and Google Play algorithms, ranking factors, and guidelines.
Proficiency in ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, Mobile Action, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, App Store Connect).
Knowledge of keyword research, metadata optimization, and A/B testing methodologies.
Experience in creating or briefing engaging app store assets (screenshots, icons, videos).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for mobile apps, gaming, and user engagement.
Experience with rewarded gaming apps or loyalty platforms.
Familiarity with UA (User Acquisition) strategies and their integration with ASO.
Basic knowledge of SEO and its relationship with ASO.
