As the Country Manager for Japan, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling our presence in the region. You will play a critical role in shaping our local market strategy, driving business growth, and ensuring that our product offerings are aligned with the needs of Japanese publishers and advertisers. Your primary responsibilities will include market expansion, product localization, team building, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Strategy & Product Localization:
    • Provide insights into local gaming and offerwall monetization trends.
    • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to enhance features that cater to the Japanese market.
    • Identify key differentiators and competitive advantages to strengthen our positioning.
  • Business Development & Growth:
    • Expand our client portfolio by acquiring and managing relationships with gaming advertisers and publishers.
    • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share in Japan.
    • Identify and engage key industry players, forming strong partnerships to drive demand and supply.
  • Team Building & Leadership:
    • Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing local team.
    • Establish a strong company culture aligned with our global vision and local market needs.
    • Provide leadership in executing strategic initiatives and operational goals.
  • Partnerships & Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with top gaming and non-gaming publishers, advertisers, and industry stakeholders.
    • Act as the face of the company in Japan, representing us at key industry events and conferences.

CBDO - responsible for market expansion, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • CSS Director 
    • Ensure seamless onboarding, support, and retention for Japanese clients.
    • Provide feedback from local advertisers to improve customer service processes.
  • Monetization Director
    • Align on offerwall monetization strategies specific to the Japanese gaming market.
    • Provide market insights to enhance product features and revenue optimization.
    • Ensure Japanese partners are maximizing monetization opportunities through best practices.
