We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Monetization to lead our revenue optimization efforts across our offerwall products. This pivotal role will focus on building and maintaining strategic partnerships with top publishers, developing a high-performing team, and driving innovative monetization strategies This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader to have a significant impact on our company’s growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Publisher Relationship Management:
- Develop, nurture, and scale relationships with top-tier publishers, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships and mutual revenue growth.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for all publisher-related matters, providing guidance and strategic direction to maintain high levels of partner satisfaction.
- Onboarding and Integration Management:
- Manage and oversee the full onboarding process of new publishers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience from initial conversation, for larger scale publishers, through integration and launch.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Business Development (BD) team to assess fit, understand requirements, and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance during the onboarding process, coordinating with Product and Engineering teams to support SDK, iframe, and any other integrations.
- Establish and refine onboarding best practices, streamlining workflows to scale effectively while maintaining high-quality service.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing monetization team fostering a culture of excellence.
- Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing coaching to drive results.
- Monetization Strategy and Campaign Profitability:
- Design and implement comprehensive strategies to maximise the profitability of both CPI and CPE campaigns.
- Balance the needs of CPI and CPE models, ensuring each campaign type is monetized effectively and contributes positively to overall revenue targets.
- Collaborate with CSS teams to identify opportunities to improve campaign profitability, making data-driven recommendations and adjustments.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, LTV, ARPU, and user engagement, providing strategic recommendations to the executive team.
- Lead the development of revenue forecasts and models to align with company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Operational Excellence and Process Improvement:
- Continuously optimize monetization processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain a high standard of performance and user experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in monetization, business development, or account management roles within the gaming or ad tech industry.
- Good understanding of SDK, iframe, and S2S integration processes.
- Familiarity with ad mediation platforms and mobile/web monetization technologies.
- Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with top publishers and negotiating large-scale deals.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing a high-performing team, with a strong ability to inspire and lead.
- Leadership Skills:
- Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive results under pressure.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the offerwall ecosystem, including familiarity with CPI/CPA networks and ad quality standards.
