Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology efforts. As a CTO, you will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of our offerwall product, ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports scalable growth, top-tier ad performance, and secure, seamless user experiences. You will work closely with our executive team to shape our technology roadmap, foster an agile development culture, and maintain our position at the forefront of adtech innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy and Vision
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our core business objectives and drives innovation in offerwall technology.
- Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the company ahead in the adtech space, leveraging data analytics, machine learning, and anti-fraud solutions.
- Product Development and Optimization
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the offerwall platform, ensuring scalability, high availability, and top performance.
- Lead the engineering teams in building user-centric, revenue-boosting ad formats and seamless SDK integrations.
- Ensure the technology team delivers solutions that optimize user engagement and maximize monetization for app developers and advertisers.
- Infrastructure and Security Management
- Manage and improve the cloud infrastructure and system architecture, ensuring stability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and oversee data protection measures, fraud prevention mechanisms, and compliance with global security standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Leadership and Team Building
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and agile development.
- Promote open communication, encouraging innovation and ensuring the team remains motivated and aligned with company goals.
- Data and Analytics
- Develop advanced analytics and reporting systems to drive data-driven decisions, optimize ad delivery, and boost user lifetime value (LTV).
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine algorithms and improve the performance of ad targeting and real-time bidding processes.
- Collaboration with Key Stakeholders
- Work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams to align technology initiatives with business strategies.
- Represent the company in discussions with partners, clients, and key stakeholders, articulating the value of our technical solutions.
- Tracking Technology & Performance Monitoring
- Develop and implement tracking technologies to monitor product performance, user engagement, and ad effectiveness in real-time.
- Analyze and optimize tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate data collection and insights for continuous improvement.
- Drive the development of systems that measure and enhance key metrics like conversion rates, user retention, and offerwall effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance and Crisis Management
- Establish rigorous testing protocols to ensure product reliability and performance under high traffic conditions.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and manage crisis situations swiftly to minimize impact on operations or client relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or business-related degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in software engineering roles with 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity (preferably in adtech, mobile gaming, or offerwall environments).
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing tracking technology solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Proven track record of successfully scaling tech products and leading cross-functional engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices architecture, and real-time data processing
- Expertise in designing distributed task queues using systems like Kafka Streams, AWS SQS, or Celery.
- Strong background in TypeScript for building scalable backend services and ensuring maintainability.
- Experience with edge computing and region-based deployments to minimize latency for end-users.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestration and managing containerized applications globally.Knowledge of ad networks, programmatic advertising, SDK integration, and fraud prevention strategies.
- Experience in designing systems that process millions of ad requests per second (QPS).
- Proficiency in building real-time analytics platforms for monitoring ad performance and revenue metrics.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention and validation techniques to maintain data integrity and trust in ad impressions.
